Welcome to comicbookgiveaway.com. This was an experiment in internet marketing using comic books from my collection as enticements to generate traffic. It was conducted over a period of twenty giveaways and was a success in the sense that I learned a few things, honed some skills, and gained a few friends along the way. Unfortunately, the experiment is done and there are no more giveaways. You're welcome to browse the site, see the previous giveaways and even the inventory of comic books that was available from which to draw for each giveaway. If you are looking for good deals on comic books and comic book supplies, check out MyComicShop.com.
| GIVEAWAY #20 - EVERYBODY WINS! That's right. This week, everybody who is eligible and has ever registered for any of the last 19 giveaways (as evidenced by having a passcode in their profile) is a winner. If you would like to see what you won, check out the Previous Giveaway winners page. That's the good news. The bad news is that my experiment in marketing is at an end. This is the last comicbook giveaway. I have enjoyed my time running this site. I have learned a few things, made a few friends, and consider myself richer for the experience, but it is time to turn my attention to other endeavors. I hope you enjoyed the site as much as I did. Your comic books will be coming in the mail sometime this upcoming week. Soybomb, I have not sent your comic book from last week yet. I will be sending it along with your comic book from this drawing. Although this is the last drawing, my wish going forward is the same as always - Good Luck! |

The inventory is complete. If you wish to comment on it, you can do so on the blog entry.

A lot has been added to the inventory, so keep checking to see the pool from which the giveaways will be drawn. About 525 comic books have been added to the inventory so far and there are about 780 comic books all totaled. There is bound to be something that each person can be interested in. With the change in the way that the giveaway will be done going forward, where the inventory is shared but the giveaway is a secret until the drawing, we are working on revamping how the extra chances will be handled. We will have more details as they become available.

We are making a slight change to the giveaway. Currently, we display the comic being given away and don't provide the inventory. Starting next week, the comic being given away will not be revealed until it is given away, BUT we will be making our inventory available to review (links to a sneak preview). We are still currently working on the inventory, but hopefully we should have it completed in a couple days. You will see that there are some comic books that you are definitely going to want to be entered in the giveaway for. And there are a few that...meh, it's not for me. That's fine. Whatever you do, make sure you entered for each week's giveaway so you don't miss that issue you are hoping for. And don't forget our premium account that guarantees you are automatically entered in each week's giveaway.

The giveaway entry is now ready! CBG is taking memberships and we are going to start ramping up our marketing efforts. Conan the Barbarian #67 is officially up for next week's giveaway, but we will start taking entries this week. Giveaway entries for Conan the Barbarian #67 close May 1 at 10:00PM EDT

The comic book collection has been bagged and inventoried! Actually the inventory consists of each comicbook getting a number from 1 to 786 (the number of comics in my collection). #489 was selected by a random generator for the first giveaway. #489 is Conan the Barbarian 67 (Talons of the Man-Tiger!) - also featuring Red Sonja. It's a continuation of A Tale of Titans in Conan #66 and Red Sonja #6
